LOOP is film and television production company based in London, UK founded by husband and wife team, Sophie & Stan Griffin, in 2008. With over 30 years experience making films, television programmes, commercial videos and short-form content, LOOP have the experience and expertise to push creative boundaries and create films that move people.

STAN is a critically acclaimed, director, writer and producer working in documentary and drama. With a background in journalism and current affairs he boasts an impressive track record of hard-hitting, revelatory film-making. New series, ’The Lost Pirate Kingdom’, is out now on Netflix, the real-life pirates of the Caribbean violently plunder the world's riches and form a surprisingly egalitarian republic in this documentary series. The landmark series 'HITLER:THE RISE AND FALL' for AHC/More4 received multiple documentary Emmy nominations. Other proud achievements include the ‘unmissable’ BBC series ALAN WHICKER'S JOURNEY OF A LIFETIME and the feature length history of Tinseltown, HOLLYWOOD AUTOPSY. 

 

SOPHIE is an all-round creative who has worked for leading media companies, notably Conde Nast and The Discovery Channel. She takes on many creative roles for LOOP overseeing; SHORT-FORM, BRANDED CONTENT, PROMOS and more. She produces, directs, shoots and edits and has won an award documentary short THE FERRYMAN, a film about the last running ferry on the River Thames. Sophie also works as an Artist and Lecturer and has experience working with organisations and groups on participation events, workshops, and community film and art projects.
